What is the PROSE Lab?

The PROSE lab is the Partnership for Research on Storytelling Environments laboratory. PROSE lab research is concerned with applications of digital technology involving the narrative form. This includes practical applications and theoretical models for digital storytelling, stories used in simulation and team training, narrative content management systems, story-driven learning games, and so on.

Where is the PROSE Lab located?

We are in the OTC500 building, right off campus in Research Park (next to the UCF-TV station and the Flying Horse Press). See the directions page.

How do I get involved?

The PROSE lab welcomes volunteer artists, programmers, storytellers, and producers. If you're interested in gaining some experience in game design and generating some portfolio pieces, contact Dr. Rudy McDaniel at rudy@mail.ucf.edu.
